The 2012 Power of the Ocean Event supports organizations that use the ocean as a means of outreach, therapy, rehabilitation and hope. Celebrate with friends and advocates of The Sarcoma Alliance and P.S. I Love You Foundation as we come together to raise money and awareness for these amazing charities. The evening will be filled with great food and drinks, a silent auction, and live music, and promises to inspire everyone through The Power of the Ocean.

The Sarcoma Alliance and P.S. I Love You Foundation
The Sarcoma Alliance strives to improve the lives of people affected by sarcoma cancers, including pediatric sarcomas, through accurate diagnosis, improved access to care, guidance, education and support. Team Ocean of Hope is made up of a dedicated group of athletes who commit themselves to supporting the Sarcoma Alliance and the thousands of sarcoma patients and their families that rely on it. The team's goal is to raise awareness and funds for The Sarcoma Alliance so that it can continue to provide second opinion grants and to continue its support of the sarcoma cancer community. The P.S. I Love You Foundation promotes positive youth development through educational health and well-being programs delivered during and after school as well as inspirational annual community outreach events like the annual Day at the Beach 'Adopt a Child for the Day', during which 250 at-risk children are paired one-on-one with mentors for a day of friendship and fun at the ocean.
